UP-DATED DIGITAL CINEMA HALLS WILL APPEAR IN KOZULKA HUMAN SETTLEMENT AND THE VILLAGES OF BOGUCHANY, KARATUZSKOYE AND TYUKHTET

On July 12, 93 cinemas from 37 Russian Federation constituent entities were approved for support to equip them with modern digital equipment. This was done in accordance with the Cinema Fund’s selection procedure to support film exhibition organizations in order to create conditions for showing national films in Russian Federation regions with populations of up to 500,000.

All of them will be outfitted with cutting-edge technology, allowing hundreds of thousands of Russian residents to enjoy high-quality digital cinema screenings. The amount of subsidy per cinema hall has increased from RUB 5 million to RUB 9 million as of 2022.

With the support of the Film Fund, 24 digital cinema halls in the Krasnoyarsk Krai have been renovated as part of the national project “Culture”. 144 million rubles were received by the Film Fund in the Krasnoyarsk region for these purposes on a competitive basis during the period of the program from 2015 to 2023. Four more cinema halls will undergo renovations in 2024 at a cost of 36 million rubles.
