In 2025, due to organization of film shooting on the krai territory, three motion picture companies will get grants from the krai budget. The total amount of grants is 50 million rubles.

According to the second stage of the competitive admissions, three motion picture companies will get grants for reimbursement of parts of their costs with the total amount of 50 million rubles.

In 2025, motion picture companies spent a record 186.5 million rubles on film production in Krasnoyarsk Krai. A total of 151 filming sessions were organized for these works. Filming production was carried out with the consultations and informational support of the Krasnoyarsk Krai Ministry of Culture and the Yenisei-Kino Regional State Autonomous Cultural Institution.

This initiative is being implemented within the framework of the Law On State Support of Cinematography, which is effective January 1, 2023. Krasnoyarsk Krai Law No. 4-1300, adopted on November 24, 2022, which is considered for support provision of national films that are produced in the region.

From 2022 to 2025, Krasnoyarsk natives played 488 roles in films shot in the Krasnoyarsk Krai. Besides, more than 1,700 extras and approximately 200 specialists involved in various film production areas took part in the filming.

The largest supported project will be the Ronin 2 series by Paritet Film Limited Liability Company (St. Petersburg).

The film tells the story of a former special forces soldier Ivan Doronin, who is forced to return to his home village after the death of his ex-wife. The series’ plot is full of intrigue and gripping twists. Filming of the multi-episode project took place in the villages of Ust-Mana, Sliznevo, Listvenka, and other iconic locations in the Krasnoyarsk Krai.

The first 24 episodes of the second season premiered on TV-3. The series has a rating of 7.2 on the Kinopoisk online cinema and 8.7 on the Kino-Teatr.ru portal.

Mustang Film Limited Liability Company (Moscow) – full-length feature film «My Grandfather.»
The story takes place in the Siberian taiga. 12-year-old orphan Vanya, suffering from a rare phobia, lives with his grandfather, who denies his diagnosis. After a risky so-called “treatment”, their lives are in danger—and now only Vanya, overcoming his fear, can save them both. Film shooting took place in the Partizansky and Yemelyanovsky districts of the krai.

The project was produced with the support of the Russian Ministry of Culture.

CHERNOViK Limited Liability Company (Moscow) – full-length animated film Tales of Yenisei.
The film aims to show Krasnoyarsk Siberia from an unusual, colorful perspective. The magical creature Kikirya comes here for the summer and experiences various adventures. This is a collaboration between Denis Chernov, director of Finnick and one of the creators of Smeshariki, and screenwriter Tatyana Belova, who also worked on Finnick, DinoCity, and Tsarevnas.

The project is implemented with the support of the Cinema Fund (Fond Kino).

It’s worth noting that the Krasnoyarsk Krai is actively developing its film industry. Major film companies are showing increased interest in producing films on the territory of the region. A total of 17 feature films were filmed in the Krasnoyarsk Krai between 2024 and 2025.
