The Law "On State Support of Cinematography of the Krasnoyarsk Krai" Passed

On November 24, 2022, at the session of the Legislative Assembly, the law «On State Support of Cinematography of the Krasnoyarsk Krai» was adopted in the second reading.
The law was drafted as a result of the Agreement for Cooperation in Film and TV making Development on the Territory of the Krasnoyarsk Krai that was signed by the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Krai, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, and Russian Association of Film and Television Producers on December 29, 2021.
State support includes creating a Newsreel Department and a Film Commission in the RSAIC «Enisey Kino», as well as legal framework for filming the newsreel of the Krasnoyarsk Krai, Krasnoyarsk Krai Film Commission operations, providing support to the filmmaking organizations to make national films using the Krai budget funds.
The Krasnoyarsk Krai is unique in its natural landscapes beauty and has a high artistic potential that, without a doubt, is perfect for filmmaking.
The Film Commission will attract investment funds for filmmaking to the region and promote tourism in the Krasnoyarsk Krai.
