Cinema goes beyond the regions

On October 17, the XVIII St. Petersburg Small and Medium-Sized Business Partnership was held in St. Petersburg at the LOFT HALL creative site, where representatives of creative industries from all over the country met in the cultural capital to exchange experiences.

The St. Petersburg Partneriat is an effective platform for dialogue and cooperation between business representatives, government authorities and the expert community.

In 2025, the St. Petersburg Partneriat was held under the motto: «The space of possibilities. Creative industries as a driver for the development of international and interregional cooperation».

Alexander Chervov, First Deputy General Director of Yenisei Kino, took part in the business program of the forum, becoming the speaker of the round table «The film industry as a driver of the development of regional economies.»

During the round table, experts discussed how to organize cooperation at the international and interregional levels in the production of film content, as well as bring cinematography to a new level of the creative economy.

An important result of the creative dialogue was the thesis that the film industry has recently become part of the ecosystem of regional business. It not only creates new jobs, but also attracts investors, stimulates the development of neighboring industries, reveals the uniqueness of the territory and increases the tourist flow.
