A Closed Premiere of the Film New Year's Letter Took Place in Krasnoyarsk

A warm film about the faith in miracles.

On November 15, a private premiere of the film New Year’s Letter by director Irina Gobozashvili took place.

This heartwarming film is about the search for family, forgiveness, and the miracles that happen on the New Year’s Eve. On New Year’s Eve, the protagonist Vaso, travels from Tbilisi to Krasnoyarsk to find his adult daughter, whom he never knew existed. The project was produced by Mechta motion picture company, which is the only Krasnoyarsk motion picture company that produces feature films. 

Film shooting took place in Krasnoyarsk, Moscow, and Tbilisi. The footage features recognizable and beloved city locations: the local history museum, the embankment, the Pioneers’ Palace, the Cheshuya restaurant, the city’s central streets, the Hvorostovsky Airport, and others.

The film will be released in wide release on November 20th. It will also be available for watching at all cinemas in the Krasnoyarsk Krai (we will announce the exact cinema schedule soon).
