The Siberian hero does not say farewell: channel TV-3 renews the show "Ronin" for a second season

The Dmitry Palamarchuk-starring series «Ronin» has been officially renewed for a second season. The narrative of SOBR trooper Ivan Doronin forced to return to his home country and rebuild his life was immediately popular with spectators. Already on the day of the debut, January 13, 2025, «Ronin» took the lead in its slot with an 8.5% share.

«Ronin» is an action-packed series that blends action, drama, and detective work. In the first season, Ivan Doronin returns to his hometown following the death of his ex-wife to care for his son. He is plagued by the past as he faces criminals, corrupt officials, and inner demons.

Doronin’s journey continues in the second season, which has new characters, enigmatic schemes, and exciting action scenes set against the backdrop of magnificent Siberian scenery. Production will be handled by the film company «Triix Media».

We are excited to prepare for the next lengthy excursion. The first one lasted more than six months, which was a record for us. In tradition, we want to involve as many citizens of Krasnoyarsk as possible in the project’s development, as we did in the first season. And I hope that the Krasnoyarsk artists who are already involved in the initiative will become federal-scale stars without developing «star fever». Following the publication of «Ronin» we have received several emails from citizens from all corners of the country requesting that our film business come to shoot comparable series for them. They are eager to see their native places, beloved sights, and favorite local performers on screen. That is, these projects are in high demand. We will continue to shoot in the regions.» In 2024, more than 140 professional actors from our region took part in the «Ronin» production, which was filmed in over 30 sites around the Krasnoyarsk region. The biggest ones were Divnogorsk and the communities along the Yenisei and Mana rivers.
