The results of the III International Forum of Film Producers, which was held from June 26 to 28 in Krasnoyarsk, have been summed up

15 leading Russian and foreign producers of film companies (including Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan) discussed the prospects for the development of film production in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The main goal of the film forum is to stimulate the development of the film industry in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and attract federal companies to film production in the region, as well as the exchange of experience. At the opening of the Forum, the Minister of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Arkady Zinov, when communicating with the participants, said: «Three years ago, when we organized the first Film Forum, we pursued the goal: to find out from film professionals, and what needs to be done in the region so that our region becomes attractive for filming films? Time has passed, serious steps have been taken in the region to develop the film industry.»

During the 3 days of the Forum, about 30 events were held in Krasnoyarsk, Kansk and Minusinsk: These are film screenings, film presentations, master classes, a business program, location tours, which gathered more than 1,100 guests. Renowned producers and directors from all over the country saw the most beautiful places in the region. So, during production tours of Krasnoyarsk locations, the guests visited the SIBFU campus, where they were shown the possibilities of placing film crews, in the multifunctional sports complex «Sopka», the guests were presented with view trails and told which locations can be used for filming sports film projects, Film producers visited the Institute of Gastronomy of SIBFU, the Art space «Square», a unique «Cinema Museum», a high-tech film dubbing studio and the only film scanner in the Siberian Federal District in the Yenisei Cinema, and also stopped by to watch a movie caravan on the set of a multi-series the film «Ronin», which is currently being shot by the St. Petersburg film company «Triix Media» in the vicinity of Krasnoyarsk. Producers and directors visited such picturesque places in Krasnoyarsk as the Ostrov boat station, the famous Paraskeva Pyatnitsa Chapel, Stolby National Park, the Tsar-Fish observation deck, stopped at the Viktor Astafiev National Center, and also gave guests a guided water tour of the Biryusinsky Bay.

The region has a very big future. This was the conclusion reached by the guests during the 3 days of the forum. At the final discussion session «Plans for film production in 2024-2026», 6 agreements were signed between Yenisei Cinema and film companies on intentions for cooperation and interaction in the development of cinematography in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, including with the Kinoman film company LLC, whose CEO is Dmitry Pisaruk and A P Entertainment LLC, the general director of which is Dmitry Olegovich Rudovsky. Representatives of Yenisei Cinema received an invitation to participate in the business program and represent the Krasnoyarsk Territory at the XIV Tashkent International Film Festival «Pearl of the Silk Road» in Uzbekistan.

Irina Belova, General Director of Yenisei Cinema, welcomed the filmmakers at the final event of the Forum and thanked everyone for their participation: «The Forum is very important both for the region and for culture in general. It is necessary for the exchange of information, for understanding the possibilities of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, it is important for us to understand what to strive for next. And the main thing is to combine common efforts and opportunities for new and interesting filming.»
Oksana Barkovskaya, General Producer of the Format TV Group of Companies, noted: «You can film almost anything here. There is a forest, rocks, and taiga here.»

Dmitry Rudovsky, producer, director, member of the Association of Film and Television Producers: «We have several projects that we would like to implement. And with the help of our colleagues from the Krasnoyarsk Territory, we will achieve this.»
Tamara Bogdanova, CEO of the KINO CULT company, shared that in the fall of 2025 their team is starting filming a full-length family picture «White Mountain». One of the main filming locations will be a pyramid mountain near Krasnoyarsk.
Producer, journalist, film critic, CEO and editor-in-chief of the professional information portal, Jean Prosyanov, spoke about the project «Kinokarta Rossii», which shows the filming locations of famous films, TV series and famous film events. They are collected by the <url> Cinema portal. For example, the filming locations of the film «Disobedient» are indicated on the map, so the audience began to come near Ivanovo to repeat the kiss of the heroes. The Triix Media film company, which spent filming days in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, also put these places on the map.

A competition of film projects (pitching) was held within the framework of the forum. Out of 177 applications, experts selected only 12 projects for the shortlist — 7 in the Feature Film category and 5 projects in the Documentary film category.
In the Documentary Film nomination, the winner was the project «Beyond Three Rivers», directed by Anastasia Shkitina (Moscow, Chelyabinsk) and received a cash prize of 500 thousand rubles.
In the Feature Film category, the winner was the project «About a Cow», written by Anton Simukhin (Moscow, Kaliningrad) and received a cash prize of 1 million rubles.
This year, the participants of the film project competition received special prizes from experts:
Khudaiberdieva Sayera, producer, member of the expert council of the Cinematography Agency of Uzbekistan, invited two projects to the competitive program of short films at the XIV Tashkent International Film Festival «Pearl of the Silk Road»: «Biryuk», written by Anastasia Beloshapkina (Krasnoyarsk) and «Samurai Vasya», directed by Mikhail Merzlikin, written by Anna Gurina (Republic of Khakassia, Abakan).

Elena Alferova, director of documentary films, member of the Board of the Guild of Non-fiction Films and Television — invited to the charity film festival «Radiant Angel», the international film festival «Victory Day», the international film festival «Date
with Russia. The Territory of National Unity» films «On the wings of the Wind», directed by Maxim Lesnoy (Krasnoyarsk) and «Samurai Vasya», directed by Mikhail Merzlikin, written by Anna Gurina (Republic of Khakassia, Abakan).

Dmitry Rudovsky, producer, director, member of the Association of Film and Television Producers, invited Svetlana Lekomtseva to cooperate in the development of her film project «Art for all Mortals».
Jean Prosyanov, CEO and editor-in-chief of the professional information portal <url>, will provide information support (PR, marketing, advertising) to the project «Samurai Vasya», directed by Mikhail Merzlikin, screenwriter Anna Gurina (Republic of Khakassia, Abakan).
Olesya Ovchinnikova, managing partner, general producer and co-founder of the Inspirers production center, will assist in the production development of the film project «About the Cow», screenwriter Anton Simukhin (Moscow, Kaliningrad).

Tamara Bogdanova, producer, CEO of Kinokult, Antonina Zorina, head of production at Plus Studios Kinopoisk, Yandex and Jean Prosyanov, CEO and editor-in-chief of the professional information portal <url> — will provide creative and financial cooperation (including Kinopoisk) to the authors of the film «Reprogramming», the screenplay by Vladimir Boturov (Shuvaevo village, Yemelyanovsky district).
For the first time, a competition of children’s film projects was held at the film producers’ forum. The experts were: Oksana Vadimovna Barkovskaya, general producer of the Format TV group of companies; Elena Evgenyevna Alferova, director of documentary films; Anna Vladimirovna Kurbatova, producer, screenwriter, director. The winner of the competition of children’s film projects was Borisyuk Elsa with the project of the film «Damn it!». The prize is two shooting days of your film project with a professional team. All participants received master classes in drama from experts as a gift. The authors of the shortlisted film projects presented at the competition had previously studied at the Yenisei Cinema Film School.

In February 2022, by a Government decree, the Film Commission of the Krasnoyarsk Territory was formed, the purpose of which is to attract film producers to shoot in Siberia.
In August 2023, the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory adopted the Procedure and Conditions for granting subsidies to cinematography organizations for financial support (reimbursement) of part of the costs in connection with the production of national films in the territory of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
In 2023, 4 film companies that spent more than 20 million rubles on the territory of the region received subsidy payments of just over 8 million rubles for their projects.
