Shooting of the “Beyond the Three Rivers” documentary has started in Motygino

Shooting of the “Beyond the Three Rivers” documentary has started in the village of Motygino, Krasnoyarsk Krai. The shooting started on August 11, 2024, and the project team is currently engaged in the active development of this unique picture. The film is directed by Anastasia Shkitina, whose work includes both Moscow and Chelyabinsk.

The film is about the Motyginsky Drama Theater, which opened its doors on December 14, 1993, and still remains the only professional state theater in Russia, located in a village with a population of less than 5 thousand people. This theater is not merely a cultural phenomenon but a true symbol of resilience and dedication to the arts in the remote areas of our country.

The Beyond Three Rivers project won the film project competition, which took place in Krasnoyarsk on June 28, 2024, as part of the III International Forum of Film Producers. Winning the competition earned the film a financial award of 500,000 rubles, which was an enormous milestone towards its release.

Currently, the film crew is submerged in the film, which promises to become a remarkable event in the cultural life of the region. Beyond Three Rivers is scheduled to be released in 2025 as part of the IV International Film Producers Forum.
