The maximum funding amount for cinematography groups is set at 50 million rubles

In 2025, cinematography groups that make national films (or parts of national films) in the Krasnoyarsk region will be paid up to 50% of their expenditures.

The Krasnoyarsk region has a subsidy (rebate) scheme in place to assist cinematography groups. This subsidy scheme became possible as of January 1, 2023, when the Krasnoyarsk region Law on State Support for Cinematography went into existence.

Cinematography groups get subsidies depending on the results of a competitive selection process and the expenditures spent during film production in the Krasnoyarsk region.

It is worth noting that the Krasnoyarsk region is actively developing cinematography. Large film companies are becoming interested in producing films in the region.
In February 2023, the Government Resolution established the Krasnoyarsk region Film Commission, whose objective is to provide suitable working circumstances for filmmakers in the region. Eight film projects got funds between 2023 and 2024, including the series Nevsky-7 (Siberia Triix Media film company, Krasnoyarsk), First Department-4 and Ronin (Triix Media film business, St. Petersburg), the feature picture New Year’s Letter (Mechta film company, Krasnoyarsk), and others.
