Second Stage of the Competitive Selection for Subsidy Allocation

The second stage of the competitive selection for the provision of subsidies to cinematography organizations for partial reimbursement of costs incurred during the production of national films (or parts of national films) in the Krasnoyarsk Territory (rebates) is currently underway.

A total of 10 applications have been selected to proceed to the second stage of the competition.

Dates of the second stage of the competitive selection:
From September 2 to October 2 (inclusive).

Announcements regarding the 2024 competitive selection for subsidies from the regional budget, which will be provided to cinematography organizations (excluding state and municipal institutions) for partial reimbursement of costs associated with the production of national films (or parts of them) in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, can be found on the website: http://krascult.krskstate.ru/press/obyavleniya/0/id/68181.

It is worth noting that the film industry is experiencing active growth in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, with major film companies showing increased interest in producing films in the region.

A reminder: in 2022, the Law «On State Support of Cinematography in the Krasnoyarsk Territory» was passed.
In February 2023, a government decree established the Film Commission of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, aimed at attracting film producers to shoot in the region.
In August 2023, the government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory adopted the «Procedure and Conditions for Granting Subsidies» to cinematography organizations, providing financial support for the reimbursement of part of the costs associated with the production of national films in the territory.

By December 2023, four film companies had already received reimbursements for part of their production costs incurred in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
