Round table "Development of the film production resource base in the Krasnoyarsk Region"

The IV International Film Producers Forum is not just a business- and cultural event, but a real platform for exchanging experiences, creative meetings and establishing new connections in the world of cinema.

On June 4, a round table «Development of the film production resource base in the Krasnoyarsk Region» was held, which became the center of a lively discussion of the prospects of cinema in the region. The meeting was moderated by Dmitry Yakunin, General producer of the MovieStart production Center and a member of the Board of the Foundation for the Support of Regional Cinema.

The Round table was attended by producers of leading Russian and foreign film companies, as well as representatives of the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Region. Dmitry Yakunin warmly welcomed all the participants and expressed gratitude for organizing such a large-scale and important project for the film industry: «It is certainly great that the forum is bringing concrete results. We see how federal and regional companies create films, and this is inspiring. Let’s move on!»

The focus was on discussions on the development of regional cinema, film education and support measures for film companies. The participants shared valuable experiences and actively considered new opportunities for filmmaking in the Krasnoyarsk Region.

For example, Olga Filonova, General Director of the production center of the Foundation for the Support of Regional Cinema, who said that 17 applications from the Krasnoyarsk Region had been received for the contest «Russia – a Look into the Future», 6 of which received support. All of these are documentaries that are being shot in the region and can be viewed, including by a television audience.
