Filming of the Travel Show “Where Was It Filmed?” Wrapped Up in the Krasnoyarsk Region

Filming of the travel show “Where Was It Filmed?” has wrapped up in the Krasnoyarsk Region. The creator and host of the project is Zhan Prosyanov, a producer, CEO of the “Kino-Teatr.Ru” portal, and founder of the “Movie Map of Russia” project.

The project focuses not only on the region’s cinematic history but also on its unique nature, culture, and the spirit of Siberia.

The creators of the project showcased the region from various perspectives. Filming took place in iconic locations across the Krasnoyarsk Region. Among them is the “Yenisey Kino” film fund, which served as one of the sets during the filming of the historical drama series “Krasny Yar”. Viewers will also be able to spot the “Krasnoyarsk Stolby” National Park, the V.I. Surikov Estate Museum, the Nikolaevsky and Vinogradovsky bridges, the “Tsar-Ryba” (King Fish) observation deck, Theater Square, and other vibrant and significant locations.

This episode offers a unique perspective on the city from Anton Vokhmin—a theater and film actor, radio host, travel blogger, and alumnus of the Krasnoyarsk State Academy of Music and Theater (now known as the Dmitri Hvorostovsky Siberian State Institute of Arts).

Anton shared personal stories about Krasnoyarsk’s landmark locations, reminisced about his student years, and spoke about how his Siberian character helps him in his acting career. The most touching moment was Anton performing his own song about cinema on the guitar.

The Minister of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Region, Arkady Zinov, also took part in the filming. He shared insights into how many movies have already been shot in the region and discussed the support measures provided by the government to filmmakers.

Our video captures the warm moments of everyday life on set.
