The IX All-Russian event “Night of Cinema," which was dedicated to the Day of Russian Cinema, ended in Krasnoyarsk Krai

 Night of Cinema is an annual event organized on the territory of the whole country. During this night, cinemas, concert halls, museums, and libraries held lectures and excursions, master classes and meetings with actors, concerts, quizzes, and screenings of popular films for guests.

“We have been organizing Night of Cinema for the ninth consecutive year. This event has become an integral part of the cultural life of our region, offering everyone an opportunity to immerse themselves in the spirit of cinema and experience its magic in an unusual form. Our aim is to make cinema closer and more available to every resident of the Krasnoyarsk Krai,” noted Irina Belova, General Director of Yenisey Kino.

More than 200 locations in Krasnoyarsk Krai hosted free screenings of the highest-grossing Russian films of 2024 on August 24. They included:

• By a Wave of the Wand (directed by A. Voitinsky, 2023, 115 min.,6+);
• Next Hundred Years (directed by A. Andryushchenko, 2024, 142 min., 12+);
• Air (directed by A. German Jr., 2023, 150 min, 18+).

A total of 608 film screenings were held in the Krasnoyarsk Krai, and 25,329 people participated in the all-Russian event.

Screenings were held in Krasnoyarsk both in cinemas and in parks, squares, sports and leisure centers, and other places in the city, including:

• Ostrov River Club (Abakanskaya Protoka, Ostrov Otdykha, 15B).
• Dom Kino Cinema Hall (Mira Avenue, 88).
• Mechta People’s Hall (Michurina Street, 30).
• Bobrovy Log Fan Park (Sibirskaya Street, 92, build. 23).
• A Park on Kamenka (Akademika Pavlova Str, 21).
• Open cinema “Mama, I’m in the cinema!” (Avenue named after the Newspaper Krasnoyarsk Worker, 115а).
• Public Support Headquarters of UNITED RUSSIA in Krasnoyarsk Krai
  (Lenina Street, 102).
• Pilot Youth Creative Business Center (Aerovokzalnaya St., 10).
• Formula Bread Bakery (Mira Avenue, 81A).
• The Second Breath Russian Bar (Mira Ave, 79).
• Yenisey Kino (Proletarskaya St., 153).

Ostrov River Club (Abakanskaya Protoka) became the main event’s venue in Krasnoyarsk.

Yenisey Kino presented a rich cultural program for the guests: a theatrical show of motorcycle stuntmen of Aleksandr Yelagin’s motorcycle theater, who took part in the filming of Ronin (Triix Media Film Company). The highlight of the evening and a gift from the organizers was the lighting of the Night of Cinema letters.

The guests also participated in a film quiz, where the fans could compete for the title of film connoisseurs and tried their luck in an all-prize lottery.

During the whole evening Vladimir Balykov, an artist from Krasnoyarsk, played his compositions. Besides the music program, there was a photo zone where participants could capture the highlight moments of the event and keep the memories of the Night of Cinema.
