The III International Forum of Film Producers will be hosted by Krasnoyarsk Krai from June 26 to 28, 2024

Forum organizer: “Yenisey Kino” supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Krai.

Partners: The Union of Cinematographers of Russia, the Association of Film and Television Producers, and the Regional Cinema Support Fund.

The primary objective of the Film Forum is to foster the growth of the film industry in Krasnoyarsk Krai and encourage external film companies to engage in film production within the region.

Sharing experience will unite all those interested in the development of the film business in the region.

The cultural agenda covers meet-the-artist sessions and workshops with the Forum participants, film screenings for residents of the cities of Krasnoyarsk, Kansk and Minusinsk; an education module for representatives of the Krasnoyarsk Krai’s film industry; discussion platforms with the Forum participants for representatives of Krasnoyarsk Krai cinematography organizations.

Fifteen producers from leading Russian and international film companies, including those from Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, will be participating in the Forum with the goal of arranging film productions in Krasnoyarsk Krai.

Three business events are scheduled as part of the Forum. These include a round table, a discussion session and a film project competition (pitching) in the Krasnoyarsk region. The pitching will be joined by 12 aspiring Russian producers and directors.

Besides business events, the Forum will host screenings of 4 films, one of which is an all-Russian premiere (“My Favorite Champion”, 2024, directed by A. Danilov, 98 min., 6+); two winners of the 2023 film project competition (pitching): “Prometheus Way”, 2024, directed by O. Veselova, 90 min., 6+, and “Krasnoyarsk Shorts”, 2024, directed by Vasily Buylov, Ivan Chernikov, Yelizaveta Boyarinova, and Anastasia Beloshapkina, 65 min., 16+; and one film specially provided for the Forum’s Cultural Agenda – “The Tales of Hoffmann” (2022, directed by Tina Barkalaya, 98 min, 18+).
