Applications are now open for the 4th Saint Petersburg Debutant Pitching Event
Prize Fund: 1.5 million rubles
From April 27 to August 15, 2026, the Moviestart Production Center is accepting applications for the 2026 All-Russian Debutant Pitching Event. The pitching will be held as part of the 19th St. Petersburg International Content Forum and will serve as the central platform for presenting debut film projects and supporting young filmmakers.
Who can participate?
Russian citizens with no age restrictions are invited to participate: screenwriters, directors, and producers with minimal professional experience—not more than one completed feature or series project.
The pitching is held in the following categories:
Feature Films
TV Series
Projects in Progress
Prize Fund
The total fund is 1.5 million rubles, with 500,000 rubles for each category. Funds will be allocated for filming a teaser or completing the project. Pitching partners will also provide prizes. Possible prizes include internships, certificates for post-production equipment and services, participation in acceleration and educational programs, etc.

Attach the following documents to your application:
- synopsis (up to 3 pages)
- Full-length film script or serialized outline + pilot script
- presentation materials
- video materials (if available)
Submissions are accepted in Russian in PDF format (Courier New font, 12 point).
