Krasnoyarsk has become a new location on the “Our Special Forces” map.
Channel Five has begun filming special traveling episodes of the popular “Our Special Forces” project. This time, the heroes are traveling to Krasnoyarsk, one of the largest and most colorful cities in Siberia. The filming period for two films, “The Chase” and “The Challenge”, will last several weeks. The project is produced by Triix Media film company.
According to the plot of the first film, Major Krechetov’s informant disappears without a trace in Saint Petersburg. This happens right after a daring raid on the hideout of a criminal financier, whom John helped expose. Investigators have two theories: either the informant was kidnapped, or he himself is connected to the criminals. Geolocation data from the missing man’s phone leads investigators to Krasnoyarsk, Siberia, where a hotel reservation is made in his name.
Major Krechetov, along with members of the “Clubs” group, sets out to search for John. The trail leads to a secluded tourist camp where influential figures in the criminal underworld gather. During the investigation, Krechetov himself disappears. To get to the bottom of what’s happening, Yana Levina, an investigator with the Investigative Committee, arrives in Krasnoyarsk. Together with the “Clubs” group, she must not only find the major but also understand why the Siberian city became a magnet for criminals during this period.
In the second film, “Challenge” events unfold even more intensely. Local security forces recruit the “Clubs” group for a new operation—the arrest of a dangerous arms dealer. However, the carefully planned deal falls through, and the fighters barely escape with their lives. “Father” and “Cloud” are hospitalized with injuries, delaying the group’s return to Saint Petersburg. The SOBR officers have a rare opportunity to catch their breath and spend time outdoors, amid the picturesque Siberian landscapes. But even here, new troubles befall them: someone kills Krasnoyarsk operative Pavel Savelyev. Unexpectedly, the prime suspect becomes Ilya Fomin, the commander of the “Clubs” group.
The project will be filmed in Krasnoyarsk’s most picturesque and recognizable locations, including the Yenisei River embankment, nature reserves, and the surrounding Siberian taiga. Particular attention is paid to location shooting: viewers can expect large-scale scenes of pursuits, shootouts, operations to capture criminals, and dynamic episodes in the mountains and on the water.
The “Our Special Forces. Krasnoyarsk” series will premiere on Channel Five in the new television season.
