World Premiere of the Animated Film “Land of Wonders”

On September 3rd, Krasnoyarsk will host the world premiere of the animated film “Land of Wonders” – a full week before the nationwide premiere on September 10th.

“Land of Wonders” is more than just an animated film; it’s a heartfelt tribute to the Krasnoyarsk Region. The film brings to life the vibrant colors of Siberian nature, with familiar local landmarks becoming part of a magical story.

The film was produced by the team that brought us “Smeshariki”, “Luntik”, and “Finnick”. This new project is from CHERNOVIK Studio: Denis Chernov and Tatyana Belova.

This adventure story tells the story of a young artist, Philip, who unexpectedly finds himself in a true Land of Wonders—a secret, magical world hidden in the vast expanses of Siberia. A thrilling adventure awaits him, introducing him to the fantastical Imor people and their amazing animals. But due to human intervention, the Land of Wonders and its inhabitants are in danger of extinction. Philip must save the fairytale world and his new friends at all costs.

“The idea for the animated film came to Tatyana and me at a festival in Siberia. The forest itself seemed filled with magic and the anticipation of good miracles. The Yenisei River and the unique cliffs of the Krasnoyarsk Stolby Nature Reserve inspired this story, which was supported by the Cinema Fund. In “Land of Wonders”, we are creating a fantastical reality with new fairytale characters, painstakingly developed by our team over several years. For us, this is not just a job, but a grand visual adventure. We invite viewers to immerse themselves in our fantasy and learn more about one of the most beautiful places in Russia.”
