The International Content Forum was held in St. Petersburg

The major gathering for the Russian content sector, the international Content Forum, took place in St. Petersburg from September 9 to September 12, 2025. Every year, representatives of the content business from all across the Russian Federation and the CIS come to the meeting. It is an important occasion for establishing the repertory of Russian films and television shows, as well as digital video platforms.

Irina Belova, General Director of Yenisei Kino, and Ekaterina Shubina, Head of the Repertoire Planning Department, attended the forum.

A conference of regional film studios and commissions called «Film Clusters of Russia: Locations, Studios, Film Tourism» was one of the forum’s events.

Director of Film Channels at the Digital Television media company and a member of the Cinema Fund’s and the Russian Ministry of Culture’s expert councils, Ivan Kudryavtsev served as moderator.

Speaking on behalf of the Krasnoyarsk region Film Commission, Irina Belova discussed her experiences and the potential for filmmaking in the area.

The most anticipated upcoming movies were on display during the forum. The most intriguing projects that will soon be shown on a large screen are listed below:

• «Prostokvashino.» The release is scheduled for January 1, 2026.
• «Daddy’s Daughters: Mom’s Homecoming.» It will hit theaters on October 30, 2025.
• «Marty Magnificent.» A new film from A24, starring Timothée Chalamet and Gwyneth Paltrow. It is scheduled for release on January 15, 2026.
• «Now You See Me 3.» It will be released in Russia on November 25, 2025.
• «The Tale of Tsar Saltan.»
