The story takes place in the Siberian taiga. 12-year-old orphan Vanya, suffering from a rare phobia, lives with his grandfather, who denies his diagnosis. After a risky so-called “treatment”, their lives are in danger—and now only Vanya, overcoming his fear, can save them both.
The main film shooting locations in Krasnoyarsk Krai were: Krasnoyarsk Stolby National Park, a farmstead in the Berezovsky District, the village of Mina, the banks of the Mana River, and the outskirts of Divnogorsk and the Yemelyanovsky District.
The project was created with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
The renowned actors as Vladimir Gostyukhin, Irina Pegova, Artyom Tkachenko, and Vsevolod Klimenok participated in the film shooting. The lead role of the grandson was played by a young actor.
The film’s producer is Yegor Shorokhov (Smart Masha, The Disobedient One, Undercover Standup, Olivier), originally from Igarka, Krasnoyarsk Krai.
