Round table “Support and Development of Film Production for Children and Teenagers in Russia and the World: Experience, Challenges, and Prospects”

“The Hero,” the III International Film Festival for Children and Youth, is both an excellent platform to see vivid film premieres and a unique program, which is often difficult to find on the Internet, as well as an ideal place to share experience with colleagues and discuss collaborative opportunities.

On May 24, the Round Table “Support and Development of Film Production for Children and Teenagers in Russia and the World: Experience, Challenges, and Prospects” was arranged.

Moderators:
Irina Gennadyevna Mastusova (Moscow), Director of the Animated Film Association, member of the Public Council of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, member of the expert councils of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, the Cinema Fund, the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, the Moscow Creative Industries Agency, the Moscow Export Center, member of the Supervisory Board of the Artmasters creative competence championship.
Irina Gennadyevna Belova, General Director of “Yenisey Kino”, member of the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation, and Honored Cultural Worker of the Krasnoyarsk Krai.

The Round Table was joined by the jury and participants of the Film Festival, as well as representatives of the Krasnoyarsk city administration and film companies.

The following issues were discussed: regional cinematography, film production, film education, and the role of cinema in the current education of children.

Using examples from their own initiatives and activities, participants shared their perspectives.
