Filming of the "Where Was It Filmed?" Travel Show begins in Krasnoyarsk Region

Krasnoyarsk Region joins the massive movie map.

Today, Yenisei Kino hosts Zhan Prosyanov, producer, CEO of the Kino-Teatr.Ru portal, and creator of the landmark project “Movie Map of Russia”. This means that filming of the travel show “Where Was It Filmed?” has begun in Krasnoyarsk Region.

The travel show will allow viewers to discover the filming locations of famous Russian films and TV series, as well as learn interesting facts about these locations.

The project’s uniqueness lies in its focus on more than just listing the filming locations. It also explores the city through interesting routes, local atmosphere and traditions, stories of residents, distinctive details of the urban environment, and unexpected facts and observations.

The first location featured is the legendary Yenisei Kino film archive. A place everyone dreams of visiting, it’s also a key landmark on the movie map. After all, it was our film archive that gave birth to filmmaking in the region—it became one of the filming locations for the historical series “Krasny Yar”.

Soon, other iconic locations in the Krasnoyarsk Region, which have graced popular Russian series and films, will appear on camera.
