Film Project Pitching to Be Held at the SiberiaDOC—2026 International Film Festival

Applications are officially open from August 20 to October 1, 2026, for the film project pitching session. The event will take place as part of the business program of the IV SiberiaDOC International Film Festival. The festival itself is scheduled to be held in Krasnoyarsk from November 27 to December 6, 2026.

Directors, producers, and screenwriters from the following countries are invited to pitch their film projects:

• Kazakhstan
• Kyrgyzstan
• Uzbekistan
• Tajikistan
• Turkmenistan
• Russia

A total of 12 directors will be selected to participate in the pitching session. A project can be presented in person by its director, producer, or screenwriter. Participants must be 19 years of age or older, and each applicant may submit only one project.

Participation in the pitching session is completely free of charge for the selected candidates.

Application Deadline: From August 20 to October 1, 2026 (inclusive).

The selection results will be announced on November 10, 2026, on the festival’s official website and social media channels. The chosen participants will receive official invitations from the organizers.

The event is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives. The pitching partner is the Central Asia Film Group (Kazakhstan).

The event is organized by the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization “Siberian Film Commission”.
