Triiks Media has launched filming on the 8-episode crime drama “One of Us”, produced for NTV
Filming for the series “One of Us” is taking place the Krasnoyarsk Region!
Triiks Media has begun filming the eight-part crime drama “One of Us” for NTV. Having begun work in St. Petersburg, the crew will soon move to the Krasnoyarsk Region, where the key events of the series will unfold.
The story centers on FSB officer Andrei Filatov (Kirill Baloban), who, after a successful undercover operation, receives an even more dangerous assignment: to infiltrate a closed religious community. The script is inspired by real events related to the operation to arrest sect leader Sergei Torop, who calls himself Vissarion.
Director Denis Neimand says: “When the entire team read the script, the reaction was unanimous – it’s a very good story. Frankly, that doesn’t happen often. We are inspired by this material.”
Kirill Baloban, who plays the lead, calls the project a special milestone in his career:
“I approach this role as a completely new professional challenge. Together with the director, we strive to create not an ideal hero, but a living person with his own fears, doubts, and inner strength.”
Triiks Media General Producer Sergey Shcheglov:
“The main character is a young man, and our task is to convince the viewer that, despite his age, he is capable of making unconventional decisions and performing truly courageous actions.”
Filming in Siberia aims to convey the authentic atmosphere of the remote settlement where the dramatic events unfold. The premiere will take place on the NTV channel.
