Closing ceremony of “The Hero,” the III International Film Festival for Children and Youth
On May 24th, the closing ceremony took place in Cinema Park.
Prior to the commencement of the main event, attendees and participants of the Film Festival had the opportunity to explore workshops, visit captivating photo zones, and enjoy live music performances.
The closing ceremony was attended by government officials, city administrators, members of the jury, honored guests, participants representing the competing films, and invited artists from the city and region.
Arkady Zinov, Minister of Culture of the region, has expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the international festival.
“The “Hero” Film Festival offered the youth in the region a chance to view top-notch modern films catered towards children and young adults, influencing the development of positive life values for the next generation. I extend my gratitude to all who took part in the festival for their creativity and positive dialogue. I hope you have many successful new film releases!”
A total of more than 13,000 spectators attended the Film Festival.
The closing ceremony announced the winners in eight categories: best feature-length and short live-action films, animation, and documentary films. Additionally, there was a winner in the “Who is your Hero?” category, featuring films from filmmakers under 18, as well as the Audience Award and special nominations from the Film Festival Jury.
