A unique scanner for digitizing film and a high-tech recording studio have appeared in the Krasnoyarsk Territory
Now in the KGAUK «Yenisei Cinema» it is possible to digitize films even a century ago on the only new generation scanner in the Siberian Federal District and record and mix music for cinema, radio, television and other media. This became possible thanks to the support of the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The new Cintel Scanner G3 HDR+ carefully digitizes the film without damaging it due to smooth rollers. Thanks to the inspection mode, you can quickly find out the condition of the original film, whether it is damaged, including the presence of scratches or dust. And even if the film is initially damaged, the new generation scanner will be able to carefully digitize the video frame by frame.
The scanner is equipped with a redesigned light source that allows you to scan HDR film in real time, which means that the scanning speed of the film is equal to the timing of the film. The scanner also features improved color rendering.
Yenisei Cinema also provides the service of the Winait DV180N scanner, which digitizes film from an 8mm camera. The equipment scans the image at 20 frames per second and produces high-quality images.
A high-tech recording studio provides installation, recording and pre-broadcast preparation of audio material. The set includes an audio station for exceptional fast sound editing.
The main monitor system in the sound room is: MacPro INTEL 2021, Apple 6K XDR 32 inch Monitor, Apple 5K 27 inch monitor.
The studio has microphones for voice filling. Full-fledged professional programs are installed for sound processing, as well as acoustic systems: Fairlight DaVinci sound card with accelerator, active Yamaha HS8 monitors. Thanks to the compact hardware console, it is possible to simultaneously change several image parameters, significantly speeding up the grading process. Multifunctional controls, special keys provide quick switching between tasks, node processing, freeze frame saving and quick navigation through the timeline.
In 2022, the Law «On State Support for Cinematography in the Krasnoyarsk Territory» was adopted, the Yenisei Cinema department and the department for promoting the organization of filming were created, the release of the Yenisei Meridian newsreel was resumed. In 2023, the Film Commission of the Krasnoyarsk Territory was established.
